Windsurfing: Cockerham sands Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: 20mph Surf / Sea State: small chop Air Temperature: 14C Sea Temperature: Weather: light occasional drizzle Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Woke up at 7ish to see the trees gently rustling and pondered whether or
not to treck out. Decided to go for it and hesitatted whether or not
conditions would be good enough on the journey down as it seemed breathles
in some areas.
Arrived about half 8ish waiting to get into the car park as 8 other
windsurfers had just arrived. Gave Phil a ring to get him out as it looked
pretty good. Was initially blowing around 15mph so rigged my largest sail
the 6.3 leving it nice and slack to give loadsa power. Got on the water as
soon as possible and was perfectly powered up, got some good runs and a few
good catapults and managed quite a few water starts again. Think the wind
picked up a little after we had left. Perfect start to the weekend
